A special exhibition celebrating the area's sporting heritage, from the school and local football, rugby and hockey leagues, tug-of-war, Cornish wrestling to 'Press Cake Racing', a unique sporting tradition created by the area's clay workers. Visitors can also discover how Cornwall's china clay industry has contribued to London's 2012 Olympics and how it has become a vital constituent of many iconic sporting products, such as the golf ball. Some of our finest sporting trophies and shields will also be on display.
